Marriage Conseling

” Premarital Workshop “

by COLLABORATIVE FAMILY COUNSELING

Next year I am starting a premarital workshop with a group of couples. I was hoping to get opinions from brides if they would attend. I think the group dynamic is a fun, energizing way of doing premarital counseling. The workshop would hit upon all the critical areas of premarital counseling in a day event. Send me a message on Facebook if you would be interested in this format as opposed to the five session intimate couples format. www.facebook.com/pages/Collaborative-Family-Counseling Call or email for more information on how you can build a strong foundation for your marriage. ecabibimft@gmail.com 808-685-2425808-685-2425

” Holidays and Traditions “

by COLLABORATIVE FAMILY COUNSELING

Halloween, Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve. The last three months of the year are filled with holidays and traditional celebrations. This is a great time to be inquisitive with your significant other. What holiday traditions are important to them? How do they wish to celebrate as a couple? With family? With future children? Whose family will you celebrate holidays? How will you choose? Celebrations and traditions are important in a relationship, whether they are ones passed down through generations or ones you establish together. Curious? Give me a call or drop me an email to set up a free 30 minute consultation for premarital counseling. It is five sessions tailored around your specific relationships growth areas and strengths. Learn about each other, explore your relationship, and build a strong foundation for your marriage. Isn’t your future worth it?

” 100+ Questions “

by COLLABORATIVE FAMILY COUNSELING

I have been getting emails about which book on what questions you should ask before you get hitched, is the best. I say buy them all! There is no one book that can be inclusive enough AND no one book that can fully prepare you for the new life you and your significant other are about to have together. But asking questions is a great way to start. Some of the most important? 1. Do you want children and how many? 2. How are we going to handle our money? 3. What does being married mean to you? 4. Do you practice a religion and if yes, what is it and do you want to raise our children with this religion? 5. What do you see as my role/responsibility in our marriage? These are just a few of the important questions. Curious? Give me a call or drop me an email to set up a free 30 minute consultation for premarital counseling.
